Five Canadians expelled from U.S. waters near Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) – Five Canadians were expelled from U.S. waters Monday by U.S. Border Patrol’s Buffalo Sector.

The boaters were on the Niagara River in Grand Island.

“The border remains closed to all non-essential traffic, recreational maritime crossings are not permitted,” the U.S. Border Patrol Chief Deputy Patrol Agent for Buffalo Sector said on Twitter Monday.
