BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo man has been charged with illegally possessing an assault rifle, New York State Police say.
Jeffrey Parker, 32, of Buffalo, was charged Thursday morning with third degree illegal possession of a weapon following an investigation by state police and the state Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 10.
Additional state and federal charges are possible.
