GASPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County man has been accused of killing his 6-month-old son.
Dillon Hossbach, 25, was charged with murder by depraved indifference and first and second-degree manslaughter.
Hossbach’s son, William, died at Medina Memorial Hospital this past February at his residence. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says the baby’s death was not from natural causes, but was induced by trauma.

That morning, Hossbach called 911 and told authorities that the baby was ill, crying and not breathing, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Before he died, firefighters tried to perform CPR on the baby for a few hours without success.
Hossbach turned himself in on Monday after being indicted on Dec. 7.
When he was arraigned, Hossbach pleaded not guilty. He placed in custody on $40,000 bail.
