German company 3D prints car in 12 weeks

The race is on to develop self-driving and flying cars, but one company is taking a different road to the automotive future with its 3D printed vehicles.

German company, BigRep, has printed a car in just 12 weeks, consisting of 14 separate parts. It’s just a prototype at this point.

The car is expected to be fitted with an electric engine sometime next year.
