GM workers still on the picket line, need to vote on tentative settlement by Friday

News

(WIVB)–General Motors union workers are still on the picket lines as the strike at the automaker enters its second month.

The UAW and GM announced a tentative settlement last week, but the union is keeping the pickets going until 49,000 employees sign off on the 4-year deal.

That includes pay raises and an $11,000 signing bonus.

Workers need to vote on the contract by this Friday.
