Gov. Cuomo wants senators to support Reproductive Health Act

Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants state senators to take up the Reproductive Health Act.

His push comes a day after President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Many believe Kavanaugh could lead a more conservative high court that could reconsider abortion rights.

Cuomo believes the proposed state bill will make New York clearer and more expansive on the books.

“This is a pro-life justice who, I believe, there’s no question, will overturn Roe v. Wade the first chance they get,” Cuomo said.

Cuomo also said “Elections have consequences, and the liberals lost to an extreme conservative administration.”
