(WPRI) — The Rhode Island Department of Health has issued a warning to customers who recently bought Baker’s Corner All Purpose Flour at ALDI, saying it may be contaminated with E. coli.

According to health officials, the potential presence of E. coli was discovered during testing at the health department’s laboratory.

The five-pound bags of flour were packaged for ALDI with a lot code of L18A02B and a “best if used by” date of December 2, 2019.

Health officials said only the five-pound bags are affected. The health department recommends people check their pantries and throw out the product. They’re also reminding everyone not to eat raw dough or batter.
