Highlanders unite for 34th annual Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival

You could hear the bagpipes playing in Amherst on Saturday.

The “Buffalo Color Guard Gordon Highlanders” were a part of the Scottish Flair at this weekend’s 34th Annual Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival.

It’s taking place at the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village.

Along with the music and dancing, you can also check out caber (a large wooden pole) tossing and find plenty to eat and drink.

The festival continues on Sunday.
