Jamestown police investigating theft of motorcycles

UPDATE: The third motorcycle has been located by Jamestown police in the backyard of an address on Newton Avenue.

Police say the suspects have been identified as 16-year-old juveniles.

An investigation will continue with a follow-up and charges through the Juvenile Bureau of the Jamestown police. 

ORIGINAL: Jamestown police are investigating the theft of three motorcycles.

Tuesday around 6 a.m., they say two people entered Hectors Powersports on E. 2nd St. after breaking out a window.

A third suspect waited outside, they say. It is not clear who any of the suspects are.

During this time, three small motocross motorcycles were taken out of the business and pushed toward the Jamestown Community College campus.

Since then, two of the motorcycles have been recovered, but the third one is still missing.

The third motorcycle was described as a yellow and white Suzuki 50.
