Lackawanna man to spend 2 years in prison for sexually abusing female co-workers

A Lackawanna man has been sentenced for sexually abusing two female co-workers.

Derrick Cleveland, 51, will spend two years in prison and 10 years under post-release supervision.

In April and June of 2016, Cleveland subjected a female co-worker to sexual contact without her consent. That same June, he had sexual contact with another co-worker by forcible compulsion.

He was later found guilty of first-degree sex abuse and two counts of third-degree sex abuse.

Orders of protection were signed for Cleveland’s victims.

After his release, Cleveland will be required to register as a sex offender.
