BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A two-alarm fire caused about $250,000 worth of damage at a house in Buffalo Monday evening, city officials said.

The fire broke out at 211 Stanton Street just after 6:20 p.m. A city official said the Red Cross is assisting five people who were displaced by the blaze. Fire investigators are currently looking into the cause of the fire.
