228K pounds of canned meat products recalled

Hormel Foods has issued a recall for more 228K pounds of canned pork and chicken products.

The company said it may be contaminated with pieces of metal. 

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the products in question were produced from February eighth through the tenth of this year.

The recall includes 12 oz. cans of the “Spam Classic” and “Hormel Foods Black Label Luncheon Loaf with best-by date of February 2021.
