One of the hospitalized men had to be rescued from the second floor. He was burned.
The other two were intubated due to smoke inhalation.
The cause of this fire is not currently known, but Buffalo fire officials are also investigating another fire on Genesee St. that they believe was caused by an arsonist.
The K-9 used at that scene was not able to get into the scene of the Elmwood fire to investigate that one.
