Friday's "Curtain Up!" celebration kicked off another season in Buffalo's theater district.
The event was the 37th annual "Curtains Up!", and organizers say they are excited to see what this year brings for the district.
"It's really affected the economy, you know, when you think about it," said Theatre District Association president Lisa Ludwig. "To have 20 different theaters. People are going out, they're going to dinner, they are going to the theater. So many actors are being employed, and directors and producers- it's a real perk for the Buffalo economy"
