An Albion Correctional Facility officer was sentenced this afternoon on a sexual abuse charge stemming from an incident in November of 2017.

43-year-old Adam Brokaw of Batavia will spend six months in the Genesee County Jail with ten years probation. 

Brokaw pleaded guilty after subjecting another person to sexual contact who was unable to consent because they were physically helpless, according to Batavia Police.

Police say the incident occurred at a party at a home in the City of Batavia.
