The Bills’ first regular season home game is this Sunday!
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has released road closing and other information for game day.
- 8 a.m. – Abbott Road closes to vehicle traffic between the entrance to Lot 4 (north end of the closure) and Lot 2 (south end of the closure). All through traffic will be diverted at that time. Drivers can access private lots along Abbott Road from the south.
- 9 a.m. – New Era Field parking lots open. “Deputies will be focusing on eliminating excessive consumption of alcohol and checking for glass bottles. Also, fans and tailgaters are reminded that the Fan Code of Conduct, which promotes responsible tailgating, extends to the parking lots. Any games or activities that impeded traffic flow will not be permitted. Table Slamming is not permitted and violators will be ejected and could face criminal charges.”
- 11:30 a.m. – New Era Field gates open and the new ticket policy is in place. Please visithttps://www.buffalobills.com/stadium/ for stadium guide, permitted items, and clear bag policy.
- 4 p.m. – approximate time) Route 20a (a.k.a. Big Tree Road) will be closed to westbound traffic from Abbott Road to the Route 219 overpass. All vehicles leaving the stadium and private lots along Rte. 20A must travel east. The Sheriff’s Office will reopen the portion of Big Tree Road between Fieldhouse Drive and Abbott Road once Lot 1 empties to elevate traffic at Abbott and Big Tree Road.
