BPD: Driver given narcan after hitting pedestrian & bus shelter

Buffalo Police are investigating an accident that happened at Broadway & Fillmore Avenue on Saturday night. 

A BPD spokesperson said a vehicle struck a pedestrian and a bus shelter around 6 P.M..  

Police say the injuries to the pedestrian appear to be non-life threatening. 

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle was administered Narcan at the scene.

The driver was then transported to Buffalo General Hospital, according to police. 

The incident remains under investigation.
