CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Money from Washington will help make sure the Buffalo Niagara International Airport is clear of snow.

Congressman Brian Higgins announced the airport will receive $1.4 million in federal funds.

Most of the money will be used for two snow removal equipment machines. The rest will go toward de-icing equipment and studying runway obstructions.
