4 Buffalo police officers test positive for COVID-19

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police tell News 4 that four officers have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Captain Jeff Rinaldo believes half of those cases are related to officers assigned to C District, the Ferry-Fillmore area. Sources tell News 4 that another one of the cases was contracted by a 65-year-old school resource officer, who is now in a medically-induced coma.

It’s not clear who has the other case, though.

We will provide more information when it is available.
