BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man faces a felony charge of aggravated cruelty to animals.
According to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, Antonio Martin stands accused of killing a cat by hanging it inside a Carolina Street apartment, then texting photos of the dead cat to two juveniles.
Martin, 40, is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was released on his own recognizance in advance of his next court date, set for Sept. 19.
