Buffalo man admits to fatally beating and strangling grandmother


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has admitted to killing his grandmother.

Alec Swiderski, 31, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter after beating and strangling Pamela Toy, 74, this past December.

When sentenced on October 1, Swiderski could spend up to 25 years in prison.

He remains in custody without bail.
