Buffalo Police: Incident where body was found on Oberlin Ave. ruled a homicide

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — UPDATE: Buffalo Police have provided an update to a body that was found on Oberlin Ave. on Tuesday morning.

The incident is being ruled a homicide.

Medical examiners say 29-year-old Christopher Clarke of Buffalo was shot and killed.

ORIGINAL: Buffalo police say a dead person was found on the city’s east side early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to Oberlin Ave. near Sycamore St. around 1:30 a.m.

There, they found the body of a male, but he has not been identified.

Erie County medical examiners will perform an autopsy to determine the person’s cause of death.
