Buffalo radio legend Shane Gibson dies at 78


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo radio legend has passed away.

The Buffalo Broadcasters Association says DJ Shane Gibson has died at age 78.

Gibson was known as the “Cosmic Cowboy” and “Shane Brother Shane.”

After spending decades in radio, Gibson moved to Virginia, where he worked as a golf instructor.

Gibson was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2011.
