Buffalo teachers protest outside Board of Education meeting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Members of the Buffalo Teachers Federation held signs and walked 4th Street in protest Wednesday, demanding Buffalo Public Schools negotiate a new contract.

The teachers union alleges that the district has since April intentionally delayed negotiations while it tries to resume them.

The rally was held outside Waterfront Elementary School, where the Board of Education is meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
