City of Buffalo will open splash pads, pools might be problem due to lack of social distancing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–Buffalo City officials gave an update on the possible reopening of pools in our area.

Buffalo Public Works Commissioner Michael Finn says he believes the city will be able to open splash pads while maintaining social distance.

But, he says that might be a problem for pools because they’re in a confined space.

Finn says most pool facilities don’t open until July 1st.
