BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — According to a city spokesperson, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown will seek a fifth term in office.
Brown, who is serving as Buffalo’s 62nd Mayor, first took office in 2006. He is the city’s first African-American mayor.
If Brown wins a fifth term, he will become Buffalo’s longest-serving mayor.
A formal announcement is expected on Thursday.
