Tearing down of vacant Shoreline Apartments moving forward

Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–Work to finish tearing down the Shoreline Apartments is finally moving forward.

The vacant apartment complex off Niagara Street was damaged in a fire earlier this month.

City officials say the work will move ahead as scheduled, but it’s not clear when that will be finished.

The work is likely to include asbestos removal, which will take additional time.
