BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police responded to a call near Shawnee Avenue and Richlawn Avenue just after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, where they say a woman was struck by gunfire while inside a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The person of interest was later identified by police as Adam Bennefield, 45, who police say is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Bennefield’s whereabouts is asked to call 911. There is a reward of up to $7,500 for anyone who can offer information that leads to his arrest.
