Your top pick for Buffalo’s best brunch is the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora.
There’s a wide variety of foods to choose from at different stations and there’s live entertainment there too every Sunday.
“You’re sitting in this beautiful facility, this absolutely gorgeous building having brunch, out on the parastyle, in the library, in the Larkin room,” said Dan Garvey, Roycroft Inn Manager.
The Roycroft Inn: where you’ll find delicious brunch and a charming atmosphere
The building has a lot of charm itself, dating all the way back to 1895
“The Roycroft Inn is a national historic landmark and the reason that it is is that it’s the birthplace of the arts and crafts movement,” said Garvey.
At the Roycroft you help yourself to food stations. There’s a lot to choose from like omelets, waffles, and even a carving station with meats like prime rib.
“We have a lot of attended stations. the food is being constantly changed out, re-filled, and everything is done in front of you,” said Andrew Nuernberger, Executive Chef.
One of the staples at brunch is the faroe island salmon.
“Fresh, local, we source out a lot of local ingredients, the most that we can anyway. The menu is different every week, we put a lot of time and the staff is obviously what makes it happen,” said Nuernberger.
Have a sweet tooth? Pastries here are handmade with special attention to detail.
“Cutouts of cookies, something kind of simple but that I think you can give some color to. We’ll do some flowers on the cupcakes,” said Laurel Schmitz, pastry chef.
Brunch is served at the Roycroft Inn every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
