BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - The slogan of the West Side Bazaar is "bringing the world to Buffalo."
That is exactly what they've been doing since they first opened up in 2011.
"Here in the west side, a lot of refugee people are here. There is clothing, there is food. They come and we help them and they also support us." said Raine Manuel, who owns Zigma Naturals.
Raine is a business owner originally from Burma.
She has relocated her family of 4 to Buffalo.
She said the west side bazaar has changed the life she and her family are able to live.
"I have my first car already and I was able to open a business," said Raine.
She is not the only one the Bazaar benefits.
Outside of many other refugee business owners, natives from around Western New York are able to experience cultures they maybe never have before.
Others who lived in bigger cities beforehand were pleasantly surprised to be able to experience diversity here in the Queen City.
"It's nice to come and we can all eat different types of foods. Like if I want Thai, and Meghan wants to come eat Ethopian and samosas - it's a happy medium for everyone to come eat good together," said D'Youville student, Samantha Sweet.
If you are interested in experiencing the bazaar, you can find it at 25 Grant street in Buffalo.
