Jamestown closes playgrounds, basketball courts to stop spread of COVID-19


JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — City playgrounds and basketball courts in Jamestown are closed, as of Tuesday, in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus, according to WNY News Now.

Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist made the announcement.

Despite these closures, the city’s parks will remain open.
