BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)– Some city workers in Buffalo can soon expect a bump in their paychecks.

The Common Council voted unanimously to raise the minimum wage for hundreds of city workers.

They’ll now be paid a little more than $15 an hour, a couple of dollars more from the current minimum wage.

The change goes into effect next July.
