AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Crews have been working on a water main break in Amherst for most of the day.
The Erie County Water Authority responded to the scene on Niagara Falls Blvd. near Maple Rd. around 12:15 a.m. on Monday.
"The leak was isolated and it has been determined that there is a break in a 12 inch cast iron water main on Niagara Falls Boulevard," the ECWA said.
Crews expect repairs to be finished early Monday evening.
Residential water customers are not being impacted by the water main break, but some businesses are having service issues.
That does not include the Boulevard Mall. There is full water service there.
The ECWA will provide new updates when they're available.
