(WIVB) - A West Seneca West High School basketball player who is fighting to get back on the court will stay on the bench for now.
He's seeking an immediate stay that would allow him to potentially play while he continues to appeal a Section Six ruling.
The decision says his six-year window for playing high school basketball has expired.
The judge in the case questioned attorneys for both sides for two hours Wednesday before deciding to hold his decision off until Monday.
