News 4 learned Dennis Potozniak has paid $65,000 in restitution.

In November he admitted to embezzling nearly $50,000 from Notre Dame Academy between 2014 and 2017.

Potozniak said he wrote fake checks and deposited the money into an account he set up.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn noted today that the real victims of this crime were the students of the school.

Potozniak will have to report to the holding center each Friday for two months.

He’ll then be released on Sunday afternoons.
