DL&W corridor could become home of new attractions

Buffalo’s DL&W rail corridor could become home to some new outdoor attractions in western New York.

The Western New York Land Conservancy revealed the top 25 designs to revamp the abandoned land at an open house Wednesday night.

The designs were submitted as part of an international competition.

The conservancy wants to transform the industrial landscape into an environmentally friendly greenway and multi-use trail.

They say the design competition will build on the community’s vision for an urban natural trail and greenway on the corridor.
