WEBSTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — We’re continuing to keep our eyes on Lake Ontario as rising water levels threaten to cause more damage to the shoreline.
John Kucko, with WROC in Rochester, used a drone to capture video of the lake.
He says the water level in Webster, just east of Rochester, rose eight inches in less than a week.
Monroe County already declared a State of Emergency because of the rising lake level.
Olcott Beach is closed for the season due to the high waters.
