Dunkirk Police investigate Friday night shooting

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man was shot in Dunkirk on Friday evening, according to a news release from Dunkirk Police. 

Police officers responded to the 90 block of E 2nd Street for a reported shooting just after 9:30 p.m., according to police. 

The news release said officers found a 30-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. 

Dunkirk Police said the victim was treated at the scene by Dunkirk Fire & Rescue and was taken to ECMC.
