The United States Geological Survey reports that an earthquake happened northeast of Rochester.
Specifically, the incident was marked as happening in Lake Ontario, about 26 miles NNW of Sodus Point. Experts say it occurred early Friday morning.
The earthquake’s magnitude was measured at 1.5 and its depth was five kilometers.
