Eichel to be Tim Hortons spokesperson

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop has announced that Buffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel will spend two years as a spokesperson for the company.

Along with being a celebrity spokesperson, Eichel will also serve as an ambassador for Tim Hortons.

“Buffalo is thrilled to have Jack Eichel playing for the Sabres, and that’s exactly how we feel about having Jack on our team at Tim Hortons,” said Felipe Athayde, president, Tim Hortons U.S.A.  “Hockey, and the Sabres in particular, are central to the Tim Hortons brand, reaching back to our founder’s ties with the team and our present day role as Official Coffee of the Buffalo Sabres and now Jack Eichel.”

Eichel will appear in Tim Hortons advertisements, promotions and make appearances at a number of locations and charity events.

He was the number two overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.
