Electric vehicle charging stations coming to two Erie County parks

ERIE COUNTY, NY (WIVB) - Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced the installation of a new electric vehicle charging station at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park on Tuesday afternoon.

“There is no better place to promote clean energy than in a park and we are thrilled to have this station here at Chestnut Ridge Park, our largest park and one where it is sure to be noticed and used," said Poloncarz.

There will also be a new charging station coming to Como Lake Park in Lancaster, according to the county.

The ChargePoint level 2 dual port charging station can be used by any plug-in electric vehicle, according to Erie county.
