Erie County Clerk Mickey Kearns is expanding hours at the downtown DMV starting Thursday.
It will be open for an extra hour the last Thursday of every month until the end of the year closing at 5:15 p.m.
Officials say they feel the extra hour will benefit people who live in the city.
