Erie County GOP Chair: Sheriff Howard to run for Wales Town Supervisor

WALES, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard will not be running for re-election, according Erie County Republican Chairman Karl Simmeth.

After spending more than 40 years in law enforcement, Howard plans to run for Wales Town Supervisor.

Howard was first elected Sheriff in 2005 after taking over for former Sheriff Patrick Gallivan, who was elected to the State Senate.
