BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Officials in Erie County say last year was a good one for sales tax.

Sales tax revenue went up four percent in 2019, which is nearly $19 million more than the previous year.

County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw revealed this to the County Legislature last week, crediting a strong economy for the increase.
