Town of Tonawanda suspends peddler permits

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Town of Tonawanda is suspending all peddler permits.

Those are permits that allow people to sell products door-to-door.

Officials with the town’s police department say they made this decision to keep residents safe and healthy.

They added that the suspension means no one can go door-to-door. This also applies to non-profit organizations.
