A fight over a proposed new landfill in the Town of Porter continued Tuesday.
CWM Chemical Services has been trying to build a new landfill there for 15 years.
Some of the town’s residents are fighting the company, worried about what a landfill would do to air and water in the area.
Lewiston and Porter residents heard arguments both for and against the landfill on Tuesday.
There is no word on when a final decision on the project will be made.
