NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Greater Niagara Ballet Company has been performing the Nutcracker for more than 3 decades.
Today News 4 got a sneak peek of the performance.
At least 100 people are a part of the performance and everything is done on a volunteer basis.
The children performers are from Western New York and many of the adults involved in the performance are from Ontario.
All of the costumes and props in the show were also locally made.
"You can expect to be entertained it's a wonderful ballet to see and we have wonderful dancers. What's wonderful is we have dancers come back and dance with us, they've gone on and danced professionally and have come back and now they're with the Greater Niagara Ballet Company," said Beverly Feder, Greater Niagara Ballet Company Founder and Artistic Director.
Another Nutcracker is taking place again tonight at 7:30 at Niagara Falls High School and tomorrow at 2 and 7:30 pm.
