A year-long project is now complete. Habitat for Humanity dedicated a home they’re referring to as “The House Beer Built” over the weekend.

Several local breweries, distilleries and bars partnered with the non-profit to make it happen.

The home was dedicated to a family with six kids who have been part of Habitat Buffalo’s homebuyer program since 2008.

Officials say that this wouldn’t have been possible without help from the community.

Stephanie Lawson with Habitat for Humanity says “It takes more than 5,000 volunteer hours to rehab and build a house.”

The home is the 310th house dedicated by Habitat for Humanity Buffalo.
