Investigators say fireworks to blame for early morning fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)– The Red Cross is helping two adults after a fire on Thompson Street. Buffalo fire crews responded to the house just after 1:30 a.m.

Investigators tell News 4 the fire was caused by fireworks. It started on an outside wall and spread to the second floor.

Officials say it caused $70,000 in damage.

No injuries were reported.
