Developers are looking at the homes next door to the former J.P. Bullfeather’s restaurant on Elmwood Avenue.
Those would be torn down to make room for a new building that would include apartments.
White San LP presented more of the plans and necessary changes to the City of Buffalo zoning.
They say the former Bullfeather’s building would remain a restaurant, in fact, they’re already working on plans to lease it.
The homes next door will be turned into a four-story building that will include retail spaces, parking, and the aforementioned apartments.
People in the homes say they’re now in limbo waiting to hear if they’ll be bought out.
The plans still have to get final approval.
Developers tell News 4 they have 90 days to decide if they will buy those homes and proceed with the project.
Neighbors say they just want to know if and when they’ll have to leave.
